The reason why the eddy current sorting machine can sort metal materials is because of the impedance change caused by the eddy current to the conductor. The greater the impedance, the better the sorting effect. The main factors affecting the impedance of the eddy current sorting machine are the intensity of the magnetic field, the conductivity, density, area and shape of the conductor, etc., and the repulsive force generated by different materials of non-ferrous metals is also different, and usually can be compared according to the same material.
In the same magnetic field, the larger the diameter of the material, the greater the impedance, and the better the sorting effect. The non-ferrous metal eddy current sorter must be used with a suitable vibrating feeder to make the materials pass through the separator evenly, and the materials will not interfere with each other, and the phenomenon of materials superimposing on each other is not allowed. If non-ferrous metals are superimposed on non-ferrous metals, the magnetic field strength will decrease sharply due to the increase in the thickness of scrap metal, causing non-ferrous metals to fall into the scrap metal discharge hopper; if non-ferrous metals are superimposed on non-ferrous metals, it may increase the object's because of the weight, the non-ferrous metals and non-metals are not thrown out, and they fall into the non-metal discharge hopper, or they may be thrown into the non-ferrous metal discharge hopper at the same time.
If the material is uniform and not superimposed, it is better than if the material is unevenly distributed, superimposed or stuck.
The thickness of the baffle of the eddy current sorting equipment and the positioning position, the higher the accuracy, the thinner the baffle, the better the effect of multi-sorting, taking into account the thickness of the baffle, the wear resistance and other factors, usually insulating board of 3-5mm thickness is used as a powder board. The position of the baffle is the dividing line between non-ferrous metals and non-metals. It is very important to determine the position of the dividing line. Repeatedly adjust the position of the baffle of the eddy current sorter, carry out sorting inspection, and check the sorting effect until the effect is the best. At the same time, the thickness of the baffle is also very important. On the basis of not affecting the strength, the smaller the thickness of the baffle, the better. This can prevent non-ferrous metals from falling on the end face of the baffle and being bounced back when they are ejected.
In the case of the same material, the higher the magnetic field strength and the higher the number of magnetic poles of the magnetic roller, the greater the repulsive force generated, and the better the sorting effect.
